About Our Physicians

Robert M. Holtzin, D.O. was born in Philadelphia and graduated from LaSalle University with a B.A. in Biology. He then received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in 1980. He is Board Certified and a Fellow in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care-Ambulatory Care Medicine. He practiced emergency medicine for 20 years and was formerly the Medical Director of Shore Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department.

He completed his residency in Family Medicine at PCOM and is Board Eligible in Family Medicine. In addition to working full-time in this practice, he is currently the Medical Director of the Atlanticare Urgent Care Centers.

Dr. Holtzin is married to Carolyn, an RN who serves as the office manager for Generations Family Medicine. They have four sons and 3 grandchildren. Dr. Holtzin is an Army veteran of Vietnam having served as a medic.

Stephen L. Bushay, M.D. is a native of Northfield and graduated from Mainland High School in 1989. He then received his undergraduate degree in Engineering from Clemson University in 1992 and his Doctor of Medicine from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA in 1997. Dr. Bushay completed a three-year family medicine residency program at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA and is board certified in Family Medicine. He has a special interest in adolescent medicine, aesthetics, and asthma/allergy management.

Following residency, Dr. Bushay joined the United States Air Force, serving four years at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. He participated in Operation Southern Watch and Noble Eagle following September 11 th , serving as a physician on duty in Saudi Arabia. Upon completing his service with the Air Force in 2004, Dr. Bushay moved home to Northfield and joined Dr. Holtzin's practice.

In his spare time, Dr. Bushay enjoys exercising, water sports, watching the Eagles, and spending time with his family. His wife Carla is a physical therapist who is currently staying home with the children - daughter Sophia and son Mason.
